DESCRIPTION 1967/8 was a a very transitional year for the Tudor submariner 7016/0 that replaced the 7928. The new 7016/0 started with the small rose,( left over from 7928) then few batches made with the new shield dial ( like this one ). The then got the order from the French military that wanted the snowflake dial and hands so they then changed this to retail customer final design. All of this was in one year! The other unique thing with this year 68, that all the inside case backs were stamped 7528 ?? So all in all, a very mixed up Tudor submariner in 68. This one has a nice unpolished case with correct semi pointed crown guards and with a stunning matching dial and hands. (hands just been colour matched at service) Comes with its nice original insert and now running great after its service.
