DESCRIPTION          This very rare two line gilt dialed submariner dates from 1961, with matching case back, also dating 1/61. The case serial numbers are hard to read but the case still retains its fat lugs and chamfers.  6 service’s that are rolex stamped inside case back and all from RSC in Athens Greece where i bought this from owners friend. This “Tulip” dial is still very glossy but with some tiny imperfections around the gilt lume plots.  Fitted with its  long 5, kissing 4 faded to beautiful blue/grey insert, these PCG submariners are becoming very difficult to find in this condition and its looks stunning on the wrist!
