DESCRIPTION             As we all know the the 16800 ( sapphire ) glass was a very short production run. These early gloss dials suffered from colour change /tropical and some developed heavy patina on the lume like this one.  The gloss dial is unmarked and the hands are slightly lighter in colour. The case has been professionally  polished in the past showing rolex brushing to the shoulders.  The bracelet is in pretty good shape and the lock on the clasp has been replaced at some time. This is a watch really stands out on the wrist with the patina on the dial, hands and the original insert.
