DESCRIPTION A 100% original and untouched CWC Royal navy issued dive watch.
The CWC RN quartz was tested in 1982 along side the currently operational 80/81 autos. After a few months of testing in quays of Portsmouth by two RN divers, the outcome was the quartz was easier to use as you did not have to set the time on each use, and risk getting water in the crown. So this was the first year the MOD proceed with the quartz dive watch and this original 83 is testament to the brand. The bezel clicks around firmly and the whole watch has matching glowing lume under UV light.
